To motivate and reward your cheerleaders, feature a "Cheerleader of the Week" on either your web site or school bulletin board. Set criteria for them to reach. Either the coaches, fans, administrator or cheerleaders can choose the weekly recipent.Give them a special t-shirt to wear on game day to school. At the end of the week, have the winning cheerleader sign it. The next week, the next cheerleader of the week will get to wear the shirt, she signs it and continue the tradition throughout the season. At the end-of-the-season banquet, give the shirt to the most vaulable player (cheerleader).
