"The goal of National School Spirit Day is to celebrate the leadership of spirit leaders
from all over the country by showing what a difference you and your team can make in your school
and community. Cheerleaders, dancers, mascots, and pep team members – we want you all to get
involved in National School Spirit Day!
How do you get involved? The week leading up to the big day, we want you to get active in your
community. You can visit a nursing home, dedicate time at a local hospital, take care of animals at an
animal shelter, raise money for a charity organization – anything you do will make a difference
the week of National School Spirit Day!" This event is sponsored by VARSITY.
Once your team comes up with an idea, tell Varsity about it, and you will be entered to win
one of these School Prize Packs from Varsity:
• School supplies - If your team wins this prize pack, plan on making the faculty, staff,
and students at your school very happy. Carolina Pads will donate $1,000 worth of school
supplies to your school!
